Silver pink storm light. Atmospheric change you can sense. The birds are quiet. Standing on high ground being pushed around by the wind. Across the sea on the other coast its already raining, a band of grey from cloud to ground, I watch it move across the sea. Close by, huge lumps of granite weathered into amazing shapes by the wind and rain… Natural sculptures….a high rock in the shape of a giant crabs claw above the head of a man, you can crawl through it!…and on the next hill - mushroom rock, worn down over millions of years by the patient shaping of the elements.
I love these Mid winter days Silver reflecting on windows
Judging the swell on Lambeth Walk while watching the waves crash over the pier.
Next morning the sea glides lazily up the beach as if the storm never happened.
